STACY HERZOG

Creative Director and Co-Founder

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Stacy is loyal to her Colorado roots but has been in love with New York since forever, and falls deeper in love every day. After attending the University of Texas and graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Herzog set off intent upon pursuing a career in fashion. On February 8th, 2010 she started Frieda & Nellie with Sarah Reid, a hobby-turned-business-turned-lifestyle she can only describe as the most incredible labor of love, blood, sweat and tears that she could have ever worked for, hoped for, and dreamed of. Herzog enjoys the entire process of jewelry design from the thrill of the hunt (vintaging), to creating the designs, to making the jewelry lovingly by hand in the studio. She finds inspiration in everything from the trips she goes on with family and friends, to art, music, her grandmother’s jewels and of course, New York City. Each day brings her a new opportunity to share the “Reuse, Repurpose, Reinvent” mantra. More excitingness to come! Stay tuned. Herzog lives in NYC with her husband, Ryan, and dog, Bambi.
